Is there any way the shader written for slim could read data stored in file on harddrive.
What I want do is is reading some value stored in arrays in the shader.
I used to only need 3 arrays, each has 41 elements, so I hardcoded it (initialize it in the shader), but now I might need a 4D array, and the size of each dimension will be around 10, so it might be too difficult to hardcode a 10x10x10x10 array and I actually have several sets of such 4D data, and I hope I could switch it without modifying the code. I also write C++ program, so I feel if there is some I/O function for reading files stored on the harddrive, it might solve my problem.
If there is no such file accessing facility in RAT shader, is there any alternative way to handle 4D arrays? Thanks.
