Hi there,
I have applied a non-linear sine deformer to a Nurbs model of DNA and have it wriggling away nicely, except I'd like to randomise the wavelength attribute to make the movement less regular. I tried adding an expression to wavelength ie sine.wavelength = rand(0.9, 1); but this made the movement really jittery and brittle instead of irregular. I also tried sine.wavelength = rand(0.9, 1) (0.1time); to try and slow things down, but this didn't help much either. As you can probably tell, my MEL scripting is pretty poor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much in advance,
MD
