When I add renderman subsurface scattering attributes to a shader and then try to map a file to one of the attributes the render fails giving a "T02001 Can't open texture"... message. The message addresses a shader with a name identical to the file I am using, supposedly located in the renderman/textures folder in my project, and has the same name but with the additional extension .tex. I assume it is failing to create a .tex file from my .tiff files (I have tried other formats as well, including uncompressed tiff, iff, tga, rla, als, dds, etc). I have attempted to convert the file using tcmake, however the docs are almost nonexistent for that utility. It works just fine doing the same thing, but with procedural textures. What the fuck is going on?
