3-button mouse: How important are all three buttons to you?

Hello All,

I'm pretty new to Maya, and modeling in general, but I wanted to take a step back and ask a question about 3-button mice and Maya. I'm considering getting a newer/nicer/more configurable mouse and wanted to get your opinions.

Let's say you are using a standard 3-button PC mouse; LMB, RMB, and Middle-Mouse-scroll-wheel.

1) If the scroll-wheel functionality of your mouse broke, would you:

a) live with the keyboard shortcuts to zoom, or

b) go buy a new mouse

Taking it a step further...

2) If the middle mouse button stopped working completely (no scroll wheel or MMB), would you:

c) live with the keyboard shortcuts to access the MMB features, or

d) go buy a new mouse

Well you can not use mayas snap functionality if you dont have a 3rd button.

actually my middle mouse button is broken at the moment. So I am going to buy a new mouse. Now! Bye bye.
