Where is the 'delete post' button?

All searching online has resulted in the instructions to double-click a button to 'lock' an axis. But somehow, in some of my scenes, the three buttons are simply mapped to the three axes, LMR/XYZ; ei: no double-clicking required, and no locking of any sort. I have no idea how it happened, but I love it and I want to be sure I can turn it on again in my other scenes. Where is the toggle setting for this kind of control?

Thanks
Found the 'setting'; XSI loads with 'view' as the default manipulation mode. Naturally, I switch to global/local as I model and find the correct mouse button behavior.

You can't delete a post (thread, really) unless you area moderator, even if it is your post.

If you really want me to, I can delete this post, but other people may run in to the same problem and this post could serve them well in the future. I'd like to leave it up, if you don't mind.
