I'm working on a project for school and I am trying to model, texture and light a room. Everything has been fine so far i started with mr daylight/sun setup and ive modeled and textured everything and had no problems. Recently began working on the windows of the room and when i applied a transperant material to a poly and tryed to render 3ds shutdown without giving any error code or message box. Now when i load the work which i had recently saved and try to render it i have a 50% chance it getting to the emiting photons part of the rendering. but if i do get past it my render works fine and nothing is wrong. I've tried rendering the same camera position multiple times with making no changes and it will work 3-4 times and then crash again. I can't seem to find the source of my issues. Ive deleted the skylight system, my other photmetric lights, and changed the majority of the render settings to see if they were affecting it. Is there any known issue with lighting systems and texturing that can cause 3ds to crash in this way?
P.S. sorry for the wall of text and thanks in advance for any help
