A simple expression question

i have writen this expression:
int $a=9;
do (time<28)
{
object.rotateY=$a;
$a=$a*2;
}
while (time=29);
maya said my expression invaild,why?

Check your loop syntax. It's either do while(something), or while(something), not do.

Ok, first, you have to use while instead of do
ie. you have do (time<28)
should be while (time<28)

your script should be this:

int $a = 9;
while (time<28) {
object.rotateY=$a;
$a = $a*2;
}

check also that your object is actually called "object" and that there is a object.rotateY attribute [ie. if it's called nurbsSphere1, there won't be a object.rotateY]

check also the syntax regarding "time" and what it returns
