Actions Interrupted By Options Dialog

I am attempting to save disk space by re-saving images at 4"x5" size through photoshop actions. However, when I attempt to batch process this action through photoshop, the save action prompts a option dialog which halts the processing until I input "Ok"

Does anyone know of a way around this?

What version of Photoshop are you using? In the version of Bridge that came bundled with CS3, there is a function that does just this and it has worked for me flawlessly so far.

In Bridge, go to Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor... and Photoshop will open if it isn't already. The resulting dialog box gives you various options for saving the converted images into different formats, quality levels, and sizes, where they will be output, and you can even run other actions on the image batch at the same time. For me, it's been a wonderful tool.

I also found this in Adobe help, but I'm not sure whether or not it applies in your situation:

Insert a stop
You can include stops in an action that let you perform a task that cannot be recorded (for example, using a painting tool). After you complete the task, click the Play button in the Actions palette to complete the action.

You can also display a short message when the action reaches the stop as a reminder of what needs to be done before continuing with the action. You can include a Continue button in the message box in case no other task needs to be done.

1. Choose where to insert the stop by doing one of the following:

a. Select an action's name to insert a stop at the end of the action.
b. Select a command to insert a stop after the command.

1. Choose Insert Stop from the Actions palette menu.
2. Type the message you want to appear.
3. If you want the option to continue the action without stopping, select Allow Continue.
   5.Click OK.

You can insert a stop when recording an action or after it has been recorded.
