Add Or Change Fonts In Maya 8 (fc-5) - Help Please!

Hi guys

I need a help. Maya 8 in Fedora Core 5 show me in Create/Text only fonts that's I dont need
I need, by example, Arial Bold ou similar...
Where is the fonts dir location to change this?
Where Maya see the exactly fonts location?
My xorg.conf point to:

CODE
FontPath     "unix/:7100"
