Add "ToggleLocalRotationAxes" to shelf?!

I'm going crazy!

For some reason I can't add this permanently to my shelf; maya updates the shelf file when I add it with "Shift-Ctrl-Alt" or whatever, but upon reopening maya the icon does not appear, and the command is removed from the file!

I'm doing something bone-headed... What is it?

Are you saving all shelves? The small arrow to the left of the shelf, click it and there's an option to save all shelves.

I finally figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what was happening:
- The shelf I downloaded from the company for whom I'm doing work.
- The shelf was placed into the job's mel directory.
- When saved, the shelf is saved to the local user area.
- When maya starts, the copy in the job's mel directory supercedes the user one.

Hah hah! What a dork I am! Oh well, life goes on. Thanks everyone for looking!
