wel, i m not good in mel script , thats why i need some help. I want to add the paint selection tool, and the select border tool, and some others tool like that, in the tool box. but unfortunately i don t know how to do. i remenber a tutorial to explain it but dont remenber where. I did try to modify the toolbox.mel, and it work so as to add the move normal tool (thats easy it s the same kind as all the others tools in the toolbox). but to add a command? thanks for any help. bert
Well, although I'm sure it's perfectly possible and easy to do this do you really want to bother..? I mean.. you've already thought of more than three things you want to add to it, but there's not much room for more than that.. this is what your shelves are for...
Xpm icons are all stored inside Maya's resource DLL.. you can't readily access their names or browse them but there are a few (in bmp format) in various folders you can access (e.g. C:\Program Files\Alias\Maya7.0\extras\icons).
