Sorry guys been focusing on developing a bunch of new stuff for the site.
#1. Get rid of links to learning-maya.com. He is trying to do what we already do. We need to start letting more users know they can find/share/search/host tutorials in our tutorial sections. Not to mention filter/sort in every possible combination.
I'll write to the owner and tell him we'd love to have him helping out here, but i get the impression hes interested in making $ on his own site and will decline. I'll let you guys know.
#2 we are also creating a new section called "users" where people can link to their own sites. We are about to launch blogs that have a personal gallery as well. So these should help users do more of their own thing without clogging up the forums.
#3 animated avatars... I guess they are ok. Unless someone has a bunch of them on the same page we'll ahve to edit and ask them nicely to limit their signature. Just try to be nice about it
