In my scene I have a ample valley where the plot acts. I'd like the valley appear a bit realistic using grass on it; but the valley is vast and I'd like to use the most efficient way to rapresent the grass, and I'm here to ask you an advice 
I thought something similar to the fact that the grass appears only in a range around the camera, and not outside that range, so when the camera moves the grass "grows" with that mouvement and I can always see that, (I used something similar with particles opacity for simulating fog) but I don't know if it's possible for paint effects.
Anyway, I'm sure the issue has been yet suggested and I'd like to know how it has been solved.
