Hi - I have to source two flat screens for the board room for demo's to clients.

I know the usual response to flat Vs. CRT - but in this case the managers want something with a small foot print to show prospective clients demo's etc.

Any advice on which flat screens are good / best value for money - this is not a 'look at and work all day at' monitor, but does neeed to have fairly good quality for mainly 2D with some 3D - - -

Have you considered one (or two) of the large plasma screen TV's ?
They'd do a grand job,...and can be hung on a wall for truly impressive screening sessions.

-didn't realise price was an issue, as 'the boss' was paying.

An LCD projector would be another nice option.....starting around

Hey - we are getting a digital projector for larger displays / demos witha pull down screen.

But often when you are pitching it is good to have a screen closer to the client - get them really hooked -

... so the scenario is for large group demo's the projector and for smaller groups the screens - hence the price thing

Got to keep it reasonable as I am angling for a fish tank too (big fish fan)... anyway - been lookiong at the Belina ones - they seem to be around the

Ok - so now I would be grateful if anyone could give me advice on a decent graphics card to run this:

2 x TFT 15" monitors
1 x projector

The boss is keen on a dual head Matrox....

Is he right or would it be better to look for a higher end solution ?

I guess it would mainly be for presentations / playing DVD demos etc - nothing too esoteric.

Any advice would be very helpful.......

How do you run two TFT's from one computer ?

What graphics card will do the job ?

As this is will only be a viewing setup will a dual head Matrox be the best option ?

A Matrox wouldn't be the best thing for the job, especially if it's a real time 3d demo. Better choices would be dual head Quadro MXR, EX, Geforce MX400, and any Geforce 4 with dual head (really have to read the fine print as not everyone is clear on it).
