Whenever I import .tiffs that were made in Maya Compustion doesn't seem to recognise the alpha. Yet when I open up the same tiff that wouldn't work in photoshop and then save it out again as a tiff Combustion doesnt seem to have any problem recognizing the alpha.
Is this some kind of jab by discreet at users of Maya? Or is there some kind of recognized file format that I should get used to rendering my frames out at that will yeild the best results? I did render as the SGI format and the alpha from this works beautifully, the only problem with is I can't open .sgi in Photoshop.
