Really dumb question,
So, I can convert an RGB image to a single luminance channel by using a luminance utility node. So, how would I convert a luminance back into a full RGB channel, so I can say, map the alpha channel of my texture into the color of a blinn material?
You could use the connection editor to conenc the luminance outpiut to each of the RGB inputs since you can connect to R G and B independantly of one another.
