Altering Where Nuke Looks For Python Scripts

Hey people! is it possible to alter where nuke looks for python scripts? (to something more local ie a nukescripts directory in my .nuke folder) as I am running this over a network on linux and can't access the paths it would normally look for nukescripts... (ie /usr/local/Nuke5.1v1/nukescripts ). Thanx!

Either set it in PYTHONPATH or NUKE_PATH. Check out the chapter called "Configuring Nuke" and "Python Scripting".

nope i've tried that but it doesn't work-its strange because nuke in verbose mode is definitely loading up menu.py from my local .nuke dir but doesn't seem to see any other python scripts in there (ie toolbar.py)-i've checked the permissions too!however it does read in any gizmos i save there....?!

something really hacky... i wanted to make keyboard shortcuts for certain operations in nuke so i tried adding the toolbar.py to my menu.py + it worked... not something suitable if you're trying to load other python scripts + my menu.py is looking a little long(!)
