Thanks for taking the time to reply Calle, I will attach a different screenshot below for topology, the post only lets me attach one. So far I have just been painting them in photoshop and applying them to the model with the exception of the floor texture which was an edited free texture, I havent had the chance to look more into texture maps etc.
Thanks for the advice, for future attempts I will definitely make the most of the UV space, and consider overlapping. I understand, I have only just begun learning 3D so will look into more tutorials to help with the learning process.
