Hello everybody,
I'm not a so expert user of Maya, but I've found out a really strange problem.
Well, I was working on Maya 8 (trial version) and I tried to create a planar map of a Sub-d (something similar to a motorbike). Well, when I use Wireframe mode it doesn't give any problem, but as soon as I go in Shaded or Textured View (or when I create the Uv Map with the Shaded Mode on) Maya exits saying it wasn't able to save something in a directory which has never existed or has never been created.
So, I tried on Maya 7, but there doesn't give any problem.

Well, I know it is really strange, and I don't know if it is a problem of my hardware or of my drivers, so:
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

And that directory is in my documents right? Well, it actually exists, but its proboboly hidden or you just never visited it. What i found to solve the problem is simple. Go to the directory that is on your error message, and delete that file. Worked for me. If you cant go there manually because the files are hiden just go to your folder options and turn of hiding , or type in the dir manually.
