Animate With An "x"

Is there anybody can tell me, if he heard that it was possible to make an "X" when you animate an arm, for exemple.
how can i find information about this ?

What do you mean? To bend the object so that it looks like an X? Well you certainly cant do that with one arm, because its one line, while x is made of two lines.

Hi,
the arm is never made of two lines but... i'm not sure, when the arm is opening for getting an object, the elbow will brake, and the frame after, when the arm is getting the object the elbow will bend on the right side.
i think it's when the elbow brake, if you see the two frames in one frame, arm's joins will cross like an 'X'.

Should be nasty if your elbow brakes every time you reach for something . Just kidding. Well i'm not sure i got it, but if you know how it should look, than you should have no problem animating it.

You can make a screenshot and upload it somewhere (www.imageshack.com for example) and then post a link or the image using img tag , for movies you'll have to upload it to some file hoster and give a link to anyone you want (maybe http://www.mediafire.com/)
