Animating an Icosahedron

Hi,

• I've been trying to animate the folding and unfolding an icosahedron. The dihedral angle between all the faces is the same, at 138.18°. I'm just having difficulties figuring out the best way to go about it, as I tried a couple of different ways with clustering a series of edges and also through joints. Conceptually, it seems that you could use a mel script to rotate each face by the given angle at once, and it will all fold/unfold, but I'm not sure whether that is the right way to do it either. Any ideas?

Yes but you can unfold it in many ways which way do you need?

Besides if you odnt know how to do it manually you dont know how to script it either because they are the same thing. The script can in general not do anything you can not do manually.
