Then you can automate it via script... thats what the scripting eingene is there for! This si actualy the most trivial of problems. what colors would you like for what channels?

you can do this. its just that maya does not realy comit modifications untill you set a key (so untill you set a key the trajectory cant update, because theres no data to update), this is a very fundamental maya cornrstone so itts not likely to change (tough a visualisation tool might become true).
Aslo showing the pivot is doble, but since maya does not realy MOVE object at pivo (picvot is just offset) t it makes the curve where the objects translate 0 0 0 is. (easy to circumvent tough).

well i dont have a issue with the line widts, id prefeer thin lines over thiker ones because they are more precice and eat up less effect but yeah i can see why a pperson using 1600 *1200 on a 19"monitor would want this. (question is why use so high res on so small screen).
Niw the second thing is actualy possible to do easier via script not entirely the real deal but you can make it MUCH simpller on yourself. i wont go into the details but ive seen 3 methods used. Anyway having diferent length tangents isnt allways such a good idea (i can elborate this), but id say this should be added just so illustretor users would feel a home with the graph editor (even if the option sint so usefull).
