I need to set up a animation of a flower which is thrown by a character. Is there a way to achieve a fairly realistic look, e.g. jiggle and leafs bending on floor contact, by using simulations?
yes but you might get the look faster by animating it by hand... i mean it takes a huge deeal of effrt to bend the dynamics eingene to ones will! Its not something you want to worry about untill the sheer volume becomes so high you hhave no choice.
I get your point, after hours of testing.... I'll do it by hand then.Thanks.
yes the dynamics eingene is good no doubt about it ist jjsut taht people often think dynamical realworld thinsga re trivial. They arent! Physics are complex things. So usualy its no easier than animatinc by hghand wich is normaly quite fast to do.
