Hey folks! I'm just wondering if anyone can take a look at this head I'm working on. If you have any comments/critisism that would be awesome. I'm especially wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how I can begin to set the head up for facial animation. Thanks again,
Hey man, awesome job! If yer aiming to go stylized and/or making a caricature of someone, then yer totally on the right track! Great exaggeration of proportions. Caricature is actually a lot harder to do than realism in my opinion, cuz you really have to know what to exaggerate. I'd fix up the ear a bit more, specifically where the main part of the ear meets up with the head. And thats all I can see from this angle. I'm not an animator and I don't really do fancy schmancy facial rigs so I can't help you in the prep dept. Good luck to you tho! -DB
looks like you've got a good eye for detail, it looks really great.
though the ear looks a bit "tubey" i'd inflate the outer rim a bit (especially on the top) and the neck looks a little rippled and small. also, with your exaggerated eye size, i'd exaggerate the cheek bone too, just to compensate.
for some facial animation input, you will have to post a wireframe, and perhaps for some more modeling critiques, a couple close ups and different angles would be ideal.
