Anybody use Wildcat 5000 and XSI 1.5.3??
I planing to get the wildcat 5000, but was wondering if it's worth the money.

I have used Intense 3D graphics for years (since their UNIX days). They have never let me down. If you can afford them, they are worth every cent.

I'm using Wildcat 5110 with XSI 1.53
I'm extremely satisfied with its performance. In addition, it's also very stable (I usually crash 2 - 3 times a day). So, if you can afford it then go for it.

BTW, this Wildcat came with Dell 530, it's a P4 based system.

I work on 2 machines with wildcats 4210 ( the previous version of the wildcat serie) and being working with them for a year. I am very satisfied with their performance, and stability, if i had the decision of buying another wildcat I would surelly do it. hope this helps...

I used a dual P3 system with a Wildcat 4110 at another studio running XSI, Maya and 3dsmax. It performed very well especially in a production environment. But I recommend it if you're doing heavy duty work since the card isn't priced for the average working CG artist. Personally, I prefer the Elsa Quadro DCC its affordable and performance was made for highend 2d/ 3d.
