Applying A Cache To A Fluid Box

hello

i have a segmented cache file on my computer, but maya crashed before i could save so when i reopened the file the fluid container doesn't have a cache attached, the cache is rather large and took a long time to sim so i would rather just attach my already created cache files to the container if its possible...is there a way to do this?

it might be, under those circumstances...

here's what I'd do it try. I'm make a container with the same resolution scale and emitters. then I'd create a short cache. go to that node in the attr editor and change the cache file to the one you previously did. Again not sure if it will work but that' show I'd try.
