Backwards Compatibility Between Xsi Versions

I have XSI V5.1 on my home computer, but my school computer has XSI V5.0.

Is there a way to save projects from XSI V5.1 so that it will work/open on XSI V5.0?

Any information would help, thanks.

Only tested on XSI 5.11, but you can export a file as a dotXSI 5.0 file. Although this is not completely perfect, I had some problems with a complex rig. But give it a go!

Then import the dotXSI file in the previous version..

I cant believe this is such a problem within the same version!
