I'm wondering if it's possible to bake skin animation so that if you delete the bone heirarchy it will still animate.
The reason I ask is because I am trying to get my animation from Maya to Max. Using Deep Exploration, the animation of the joints ports over flawlessly, except that the Skin isn't attached to the skeleton in Max and just sits there. I figured if I could bake the animation of the skin in Maya before I export, it would show up in Max exactly as it is in Maya.
Any thoughts?
