I'm new to mel, please excuse this simple question...
I'm scripting some file conversion with a plugin...
I can do everything except fill in a filename in the file requestor..
(I'm trying to automate a load/process/save with a list of files)..
"echo all" in the script window only shows the result of the action... it doesn't appear to my inexperienced eye that I can actually fill in a text string in a window requestor... and I certainly don't want to try to alter some of the mel scripts that make the windows in an attempt to pass them values!
if this can all be done with the file command, or some other easy way, I would appreciate some help... I haven't found any good examples that show how to pass plugin options and window choices using that command, and my thrashing hasn't revealed anything.
any help appreciated...
