I got the Nuke demo more then a few months ago, haven't had a chance to touch it. Just wondering if there is a DVD on basic Nuke and maybe some basics on Maya integration with Nuke??
Thanks,Shane C.
there are some DVDs by Rob Nederhorst available through Gnomon Workshop:http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/groups/nuke\_g.html
Those were done in an older version of Nuke so the UI stuff has changed a bit since but most of it should still apply and give you a good intro.
As for Maya/Nuke integration, Nuke's file formats of choice are chan files for camera/animation exchange and objs for geometry. You can download a mel script to export chan files here:http://www.fxshare.com/nuke/downloads/tool...rters/4320.html
here are some tips on how to use it (which you can also figure out by looking at the mel script):http://www.fxshare.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=228352
I'm very close to releasing my Maya to Nuke script as part of the next update to MoCon. I'll keep the board informed when it's released. So far it looks good.
