Beholder

Please critique my work. This was done in subD and was based off a character in the D&D Monster Manual. I'm looking for some good tips and suggestions concerning the modeling only. I would appreciate your info greatly. Thank you.

Nice work, but I think creating a good shader for the beholder will be the hardest part.

It would be great if you could post what you used as reference, but I guess that might be a bad idea since those images are copyrighted.

Still, most beholders I have seen have a larger central eye, and even the eyes on the eyestalks seemed a bit more rounded and developed. It is hard to say though since I have seen them drawn in many different ways.

There are some jagged edges in some areas of your model though, particularly in beholder3.gif around the eyestalks.

Pretty cool though regardless.

nice model! ( at this point texturing it will make it or break it )
What im saying is, if the texures look nice it will be awesome!
This is just my opinion.
