Im going to upgrade my socket A and relegate it to a renderbox, what is the best available socket-A for rendering?
Barton 2800+ are better than 3000+ because of their large cache.
Can I infer that cache is bad and clock cycles is good for rendering?
I'd prolly got a high end Sempron then.
An XP-M is a cool little bugger that can be OC very well, Im seriously considering this because here in Adelaide,
Australia it gets very hot.
BTW Links/Info on what rendering in maya likes in terms of system components and why it likes them would also be helpful

I should stress this is almost pure rendeiing and this is essentially a spare computer - ill go something more beefy once AMD make up their minds on the Dual Core socket / dual Pentiums come out.
