Well my sentiments are totaly reversed, id wish adobe would come down their ivory tower and do some hardcore pixel pushing stuff for a change. I mean you still cant have negative colors in photo shop. And thsi is kindof critical for 3d 2d integration.
Not to mention the fact that this makes a lot fo 2d treicks much easier to do.
But maya is totally psd integrated allready, as well as knows how to do 3d objects fopror photoshop. (theres no need to add anything from mayas point) However i feel c4d targets a much more lovewel crowd than maya does and you can see it in their hey we have this feature lists. Maya has most of it but its just a sideline in mayas arsenal.
I mean anything that maya can render it can pump into photoshop, except offcourse PS isnt a generic pixel analysis tool, same applies to AE and thus theres a lot you cant do with them.
