Better Flash Exporting

There are two improvements that I would like to see when it comes to flash exporting.

First and foremost, I would like to see parametric shapes (nurbs, subdivision surfaces) exported as curves as opposed to a whole bunch of linear line segments. Basically all the size wins are lost when smooth shapes are exported as complex polygons. At that point you get smaller files by using intelligently compressed gif files.

Additionally I would like to be able to export .fla files that give the option of using tweens even if they are not entirely accurate.

Yes, but thing is ravix isn't really up to this task. (alias does not make ravix, its a 3rd party plugin bundled into maya just like mr). And ravix has n support for parametric surfaces.

As for intelligently compressing gif files well, sure but theres no such technlogy available anywhere.

But basically theres one thing id like to change in FLASH and taht would be how it does tweening if you could then all this would be fairly easy to do.

When you say that ravix has support for parametric surfaces, do you mean that it can export them, or that it exports them as curves?

that ravix can only read triangles.
