Birail problem (2)

Hi,

I'm having some problem with bi-rails. I have two square-like curves positioned next to each other and then one curve between them like this:

What I want to do is to pick the short curve as profile and the two large rectangular curves as rails. But when I do this I get the following result (there is a gap in the surface). Any ideas why?

maybe the rectangular curves are not closed or have different start/end points..

why dont you try lofting the recangular curves, think thats a better approach to what you are trynig to achieve

so why are you birailing this? seems like a simple loft to me...

you're right, it was kinda stupid to use birail, don't really know why I wanted to do that. As you say, it's better to use loft and then modify the surface to the shape I want.

Thanks for your replies!
