I think I have heard that Nuke internally handles everything in 32 bit. I have the problem, that when I multiply footage in floating space, the white area is too bright (over 1) and brightens up the image. In shake I usually put a bytes node in there (set the bit depth to 16 or 8 bit) and everything works fine. Is there a way to handle this in Nuke, because I can't find something similar in there , where I can tell Nuke which bit depth I want to use.
hope someone has an idea....
thanks
