Ok. It's Sunday. It's 6:10 AM. I've been wrestling with Blastcode for 14 hours.
My problem is this: I'm destroying a humanoid, mechanical character - built of lots of little machine parts.
I want to use the existing geometry from the model as "glue objects" in blastcode.
It works fine.
But I also want to animate the body rig to give a shockwave effect to the character as if it were getting blown back.
When I do that though, the glue objects inherit the motion of the limbs, even once detached. So if the arm is rotating, the airborne debris that came from the arm rotate with it. This looks obviously wrong.
Does anyone out there know BlastCode well and if so what would you recommend in this case?
