Blend Shape Animation in the Graph Editor

I want to see my blend shape keyframes in the graph editor. In the blend shape editor, when I select the blend node that has keyframes in, it does come up in the graph editor. Yet it is seen as an object (because it comes up as the active object in the channel editor). Any suggestions?

I'm sorry, what's the problem here? You want to see your blendshape keys in the Graph Editor and it seems you've done that. Yes the BlendShape node comes up in the ChannelBox too because it is a node. I don't think you can have the BlendShape node selected without it coming up in the ChannelBox.

Sorry for the mistype. I meant "it does NOT come up in the graph editor".

This may be due to a filter in the graph editor. In the graph editor, select the pulldown menu "Show" > "Objects", select "Clear Below".
The animation curves should show up whether you have selected the blend shape node or just the surface that has the deformer on it.

Thanks Alan. It was not a graph editor filter problem. I (mistakenly) thought that when I "selected" a blend shape in the blend shape editor there was an active node that should show up in the graph editor. I was looking at the wrong object. When I made the target surface active there were all the blend shape animation curves. Thanks a lot.

your not mistaken, if you select a blendShape node (eg 'Select' through the blend shape editor/window thingy), it will list in the graph ed., w its animation (yeah, and you can still see that animation listed under the affected surface). as suggested above, its likely a filter that is preventing itslisting...perhaps you have show only DAGs?

You're right. I needed to be in the outliner of the graph editor not the graph view. Amazing what simple stuff I can miss.
