blur question...

hi guys,

i am donig a test of a talking dog. i placed a separate mouth which i did in softimage. my problem is how can i blur a particular region in afterfx? i would like to remove the seam because the connection can be seen. any help is appreciated.

Use compound blur or duplicate the layer and then mask the top layer. Add blur to taste
