MooM as the savior of the Scotts... who would've guessed.
I'll point out one thing here. When he drives his sword into the ground he lifts it up kind of fast, holds it, then brings it down kind of fast. The up and the down are the same speed. You can really show the impact if you stagger these two speeds. Raise the arms at about the same speed in the beginning, keep raising them a bit even through the hold at the top and bring the sword down really fast. Two maybe three frames tops. Through this you get a greater build up of strength through anticipation and then "THUNK", a solid impact into the ground. Two frame animations will seem fast in playblast, but it will still register with the audience and display a lot of force.
This sword thrust is also a great chance to get a good arc of motion at the top of MooM's back. Act it out and record yourself a few times from the side and watch how your back moves when you drive something into the dirt. Don't even worry about the words. The back and shoulders tense beautifully backwards and up before releasing the energy down and forwards. The hips add a lot to this motion as well.
