I just followed tutorial of shake 4 ( inside shake help ) to view the z depth channel in viewer window, but shows me " black "
my method is ( which followed shake tutorial exactly inside shake help ) :
1)Rendered a really simple scene, which is several boxes have different distance from camera and rendered with RGBAZ .
2) In shake, load them in, and i can see the info on the top of viewer window shows view1:1.0.1 cube@RGBAZ 8bit 640x480,which is correct and exact what i did in maya.
3) Click "change view script " button switch to " Z " , then right click "Z" button choose" Load Viewer Script Controls into Parameter2 Tab ". Then some options pops up inside Parameters2 Tab.
4) Choose "Original " in floatZinA, then in zNormalize choose " Maya "
5) Under the viewer window, switch view RGBA channels button to " A" .
Then, according to the tutorial, the "Z " depth should shows in the viewer wondow with invert image ( which is a inverted z depth image ) , but nothing happens...just shows me a " black " nothing inside.
I did follow the step exact as shake tutorial did.
what is wrong ? also, i test it in shake4.1 ( mac version ) and shake 2.5 (window version ) , same " black "
Is this a bug ? or sth ...? joke ?
come on, does someone tell me what is going on ...? please.
