I've done this numerous times with easy cd creator. You should have two options for burning a data cd which are Joliet and Iso 9660. You want to use 9660. The main problem I have had with doing this is to make sure that the files I am burning have suffixes and short names. Since PC files do not have resource forks like Mac files there really is no fear of the file becoming corrupted but if the file is an image format the Mac OS may not beable to recognize which format it is without a file suffix like .jpg
Likewise since on NT and Windows 2000 you can have names longer than 32 characters you may have problems if the files in your .sit archives you've made on the PC once you unarchive them on a Mac. I haven't tested this but I'm guessing that Stuffit expander woul dsimple truncate the names which may mean no file suffixes.
This behaviour will produce files like this:
Was named on the PC myfilewithlongname.000.jpg
Will look like this on the Mac myfile~.jpg
It's safest especially with file sequences to name your files like this:
Seq_0001.JPG when goign from PC to MAC as shorting out this kind of mess with a long file sequence is irritating and time consuming so it's best to play it safe.
