Hi all, I'm looking for ways to cache Maya hair in "file per frame" much like the nCloth/geometry cache. The reason is to lower the network traffic when rendering Maya hair through renderfarm. The current "one file for the whole sequence" approach will slow the network a lot when many render slaves all try to read the hair caches, many times the render don't come out right due to the fact that some slaves can't access the caches.
Anyone has any suggestion?
