I have somewhat interesting problem. I'd like to automatically create camera lookat points for a grey scale texture sequence. At every frame the lookat point should be at the highest intensity of the grey texture.
This would involve sampling of all pixels in an image and find the location in pixel space and in world coordinate space where maximum intensity occurs.
The goal is to create camera path automatically for a given textue sequence.
Any pointers on how to implement this would be great.

Id use maya live to track the point.
Yes that is a valid point Joojaa. I'll need to set some arbitration rules for getting rid of ambiguities.
I have not used tracking before so I'll need to RTFM that. Do you think tracking for this purpose can be automated and made to run in batch mode of Maya?

Any pointers for sampling the pixel color and getting world coordinate system for a gievn pixel?
