Hi,Im sure that this question has been asked and answered previously- but I cant seem to find the post w/ the answers I need...I have a scene where the only thing that is animating is the camera- and in the render the scene appears to stutter (the animation is not smooth)...Any ideas...deadlines loomthanks so much in advance
Describe the macera movement... Are you suing motion blur. ow arte you previewing the animation, Freo what output device is it prepared for what measn of treasfer do you use...
Its no smooth does not describe things.
the camera pans and turns...The wireframe/playblast of this motion is perfect- smooth- no jumps. There are 2 texture mapped polygon cube-type shapes sitting on a "seamless" - think product shot with a camera animation...stills look great...I've turned motion blur on and off- I've messed around with the multi-pixel...The stuttering is seen when we fchech the render- the playback itself is fine- but there is actually a stutter in the way the scene comes together as rendered framesIts a very weird problemAny directions twds possible solutions will be greatly appreciated...thanks-a
Are you sutre thet its not actualy caused by terh fact that you deck cant keep up. Ty cvonvertting it into a compressed animation and se if watched with a setting that ensures every freme is played and acocounted for id the stutter happens. Se its totaly possible fchek drops frames.
yes- its absolutely not a playback issue...
bahhh.. Sounds like i've had something alike a long time ago on Maya 1.0.. My guess it was because I've had set renderframes in renderGlobals unordinary: startFrame was something like 0.2500 and Step 0.5000. I've been thinking it would(should) work, but at next morning I've been pissed off, because all rendered sequence was jaggy. Never tried this again. What are these renderGlobals in Your case? I am sure - my playblast was smooth too.Another thing is to post a zipped MA. Perhaps we could test it on our machines.
Besides checking your Render Globals for the settings, check your clipping planes on the camera, it could be a scale issue as well. Also try creating another camera and replitacing the motion or pasting the animation.I
