I recently exported my Outlook for Mac mailbox into an OLM file and now want to move everything directly into Office 365 without manually importing files into Outlook. I was researching migration solutions and came across CloudXena OLM Converter, which claims to support direct migration to Office 365, Gmail, IMAP, Yahoo, iCloud, and other email platforms using secure authentication.
The software also includes features like batch conversion, mailbox preview, selective migration using date filters, and attachment management. I also saw that it can convert OLM to ICS for exporting calendar entries separately, which could help during partial migrations. Another useful feature seems to be PST splitting for handling oversized Outlook data files.
I’m curious whether direct cloud migration tools are more reliable than manual import-export methods. Has anyone here migrated OLM files directly into Office 365 or Gmail without using the Outlook installation? Did the process maintain folder structure, attachments, and email formatting correctly? I’m especially interested in knowing how these tools perform with large mailbox files containing years of archived data.
