In maya I keep every thing (icons) out of the way, just one view port and of course a hot box to work with. I don't like my screen cluttered with icons. Does XSI have something similar...?

as far as i know XSI can be cuztomized in the same way your thinking.

Hi! - If you check in the manuals on how to edit layouts, you should be able to customize a set that you're happy with, with as many or few toolbars as you feel you wish, and switch layouts easily on the fly.
