Can you import 3D models into Nuke?

Hi Guys,
Quick question:
Can you import 3D models into Nuke, as per this picture:

If not, then I presume the model is rendered out as images, then composed into Nuke, but what if the angles are not right between the model and background, do they re-render the model several times?

I understand that they will render the model out in different layers/composites/channels, but they still only have one perspective.

Sorted, you can import OBJ's, and texture them with a normal read node.
Import them via a ReadGio node.
