Can't delete connections in hypergraph

hi,
i'm following a tutorial in the foundation book about the hypergraph.... using the connection editor i've made connections between the translate attributes and the color attributes. it works and it's very nice and all.... but now i'm supposed to delete those connections in the hypergraph and they won't delete!!!
i CAN delete any other connections, ie any of the other arrows, but NOT those.
why oh why?

Which connection exactly you cannot delete and what's the warning or error message that maya issues?

hi,
i made connections between translate attributes and color attributes. for instance between translate x and color red, y and green... now if i move the sphere along the x axis, it turns red (hey it wasn't my idea, it's just a tutorial)... if i select one of those connections in the hypergraph and press delete, NOTHING HAPPENS. no warnings or errors...
i can select any of the other connections, that is any of the other arrows between any of the nodes, and delete them without a problem...

If you've connected each single component individualy tx->colorR, ty->colorG etc. then you might have 3 connection arrows overlaping. So if you click on arrow and press delete you have 2 more left and it seems like nothing happened but you actually deleted one of them. Try to click and delete 3 times. You'll se that each time you put your mouse over the arrow, different connection gets printed.

well i tried that but it didn't work. the weird thing is that the arrows are dotted lines, and if i hold the curser on them all it says is "UnitConversion". in any case, i'll just go back to the beginning (not very far to go).

Could you post a graph screenshot?

Try to set your scene units to centimeters ( before connecting ), and turn on Show->Show Auxiliary Nodes in hypergraph.

wow thanks!!! changing to Centimeters did the trick immidiatly... weird... well, here's a screen shot anyway:
