In the days of Maya 7 I used to do plenty of hardware rendering on my Mac, the other week I did a clean out and reinstalled OSX 10.4.8 and all the software. Now though when I try to do a hardware render of anything it tells me that my graphics card is not supported. I've been to ATI and got the latest driver thinking that it might be that. But no joy there. Saying that the driver seemed quite old, though ATI say it was for Tiger.
If anyone has had this problem I would really appreciate it if you could show me how to get around it. I miss my particles.
